MADISON (WKOW) -- City officials want you to keep an eye on city parks and help keep them clean and safe.
They've started a Park Watch program.
Trained volunteers will look for suspicious activity and make sure park grounds and equipment are not vandalised or abused.
Last week. a bench at Kennedy Park was set on fire.
"Madison is a great place to live and...our parks are a great resource. This is just another way we can help," explains Parks Department Spokeswoman Laura Whitmore.
People who sign up to take part in the watch program will be trained.
