Forgery / Stolen Vehicle

The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in obtaining information and identifying a suspect in a forgery and stolen vehicle. On August 16, 2008, the suspect forged checks at the Wal-mart, Walgreen's and Target on the West Side of Madison.  These checks had been taken from a stolen vehicle that has since been recovered.

The suspect, who is pictured here, is described as a white male, early to mid 20's, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 lbs.  The suspect also had short hair and was unshaven.  This suspect was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and oversized camouflage shorts.

If you have any information about this forgery or can identify this suspect please call Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.  Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

This is Madison Police Officer Paul Jacobsen for this week's Crime Stopper.
