Phone service back on in Marshall

Marshall (WKOW) -- From Marshall PD:  The Marshall Police Department has been advised by Verizon that as of approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday telephone service has been restored to all the customers in the 655 exchange. 

  Verizon has also indicated that the local towers providing Verizon Wireless service have been restored to full capacity usage.

  Anyone in need of emergency services can dial 9-1-1.

  Marshall Police Department will be resuming normal administrative office hours.

  Anyone requiring assistance after normal hours should contact either 9-1-1 or the Dane County Dispatch at 255-2345.

  If you are still experiencing telephone difficulties or have questions regarding telephone service, you can contact Verizon directly.

  Verizon is requesting that if any customers are still affected please call 1-800-483-1000 and report their situation if possible.
