Madison (WKOW) -- from WI Dept. of Justice: Jeffrey Robinson, 40, and Timothy Robinson, 28, both of Madison, Wis., are charged in separate indictments with multiple counts of distributing crack cocaine.
Jeffrey Robinson and Timothy Robinson are brothers.
Jeffrey Robinson is charged with possessing 50 grams or more of crack cocaine with intent to distribute on September 24, 2008.
The indictment also alleges that he distributed 50 grams or more of crack cocaine on September 9, 2008, and that he distributed five grams or more of crack cocaine on August 26 and 27, September 3, 4, 5, 8, and at two different times on September 9, 2008.
Timothy Robinson is charged with distributing 50 grams or more of crack cocaine on July 21 and August 7, 2008, and with distributing five grams or more of crack cocaine on August 1, 2008.
If convicted, each man faces a minimum penalty of 10 years and a maximum of life in federal prison.
The charges against them are the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Dane County Narcotics and Gang Task Force.
The prosecution of these cases has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Reinhard.
