Missing UW-Milwaukee student may have been killed

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A missing University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student may have been the victim of foul play.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Department said Saturday it has been looking into the disappearance of Haroon Khan as a possible homicide. Khan was reported missing in Milwaukee on Wednesday.

The sheriff's department says two teens told the Watertown police that a friend of theirs said he killed someone. Officers began investigating and identified three suspects in the case.

The sheriff's department says one of the suspects, a 20-year-old man from Watertown, shot and killed himself Friday night as authorities approached his home.

The sheriff's department says two other people are in custody and cooperating. They are a 20-year-old woman from Delafield and a 20-year-old male from Watertown.
