Madison (WKOW) -- from Madison PD: Monday morning, members of the Madison Police Department uted a pair of search warrants in connection with armed robbery investigations, which are being conducted in partnership with the Dane County Sheriff's Department.
Members of the Madison Police Department's SWAT team set-up to help ute the first search warrant at an address in the 800 block of Brandie Road very early Monday morning.
While observing the property, and prior to going in, the team saw a vehicle pull up and drop off two men.
Their arrival followed the third in a series of recent bar hold-ups.
Around 1:55 a.m. Monday, Dane County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Kountry Keg Tavern, 6259 Portage Road, for an armed robbery.
Earlier this month, on October 2, 2008, Bailey's Bar, 601 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Town of Blooming Grove, was struck, and the Packers Inn, 300 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, was hit on October 7, 2008.
After the men were dropped off at the Brandie Road address, officers did proceed to ute the warrant.
Arrested at the residence were John J. Olson, age 28, and his uncle John A. Olson, age 36.
Both have been tentatively charged with Armed Robbery.
Following the apprehensions, Madison Police next uted the second search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Herndon Drive.
Arrested at that location was Daniel W. Rymer, age 27.
He has also been tentatively charged with Armed Robbery.
Investigators believe the suspects are responsible for the three tavern robberies.
