GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Justin Harrell could start practice tomorrow and be activated as early as Sunday.
The Packers invested a first-round draft pick in Harrell last year. But, with an injured back, Harrell hasn't played or practiced since the end of last season and has been on the physically-unable-to-perform list.
The Packers need Harrell to fortify the defensive line, especially since tackle Ryan Pickett suffered a strained triceps in last Sunday's game against Seattle.
Green Bay is already without defensive end-tackle Cullen Jenkins, who's out for the season.
Defensive ends Mike Montgomery and Jason Hunter are injured as well.
