Rodgers impressive in early going

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Life after Favre?

Not so bad for the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Instead of a learning curve, Rodgers has performed more like a veteran than a first-time starter.

Rodgers has shown leadership and played while injured. And, he's tied for fourth in the NFL with a 98.8 rating going into Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Quarterbacks coach Tom Clements says he's not surprised by Rodgers' performance.

They felt he was ready to play.

The tests Rodgers has yet to encounter are a last minute drive to win the game, or carrying the team on his back when parts of it aren't functioning.
