Extra patrols at rural polls in Rock County

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- From the Rock County Sheriff's Department:

Sheriff Robert Spoden has authorized extra patrol for rural polling places during the Tuesday, November 4th, general election.  Rock County Clerk Lori Stottler is expecting a large turnout for the election and is working with the Sheriff's Office to assure a smooth election day.  The Sheriff's deputies will stop by polling places throughout the day and will assist staff when the polls close at 8:00 p.m.

As a reminder, anyone in line when the polls close at 8:00 p.m. will be allowed to cast a ballot.  Those arriving after 8:00 p.m. will be turned away.  Sheriff Spoden wants everyone to have a safe and trouble free Election Day.
