Madison (WKOW) -- from Madison PD:  Shortly after noon on Halloween, Madison Police were called to a Mobil gas station at 3019 East Washington Avenue after a man threatened to kill the clerk.

The victim, and witnesses, said 28-year-old Londrelle Emon Johnson of Madison wanted the clerk to come outside, and was pounding on the bullet proof glass behind which the victim was working.

When officers arrived, they witnessed Johnson pointing at the clerk still making deadly threats.

Officers later discovered that Johnson had a nine-inch steak knife under his coat.

He tried to convince those arresting him that it was only for cutting "rough" meat.

Johnson was arrested and tentatively charged with Disorderly Conduct while Armed, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
