Gays Mills (WKOW) -- FEMA has released its final long-term recovery plan for Gays Mills.
Earlier in 2008, Gays Mills was hit hard by flooding, and many residents have been calling for the community to relocate.
FEMA has been working with Gays Mills officials to find a resolution to the community's flooding problems.
The federal agency will present its report to Gays Mills on Monday evening.

UPDATE (11/04 7:30am): GAYS MILLS, Wis. (AP) -- The Gays Mills Village Board has adopted a plan to relocate many homes and other buildings out of the danger of further flooding.
Devastating floods from the Kickapoo River hit the community last year and again this summer.
A study estimates it would cost $1.7 million to buy 30 acres north of town and develop it for homes, businesses and government offices.
