GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers aren't buying the news that Minnesota Vikings star defensive end Jared Allen might miss Sunday's game at Minneapolis.
Allen suffered a sprained AC joint in the Vikings' victory over Houston last Sunday.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy thinks Allen will play -- and the team is preparing as if he'll play.
Allen did not practice yesterday. He's missed only one game in his career due to injury -- a knee injury as a rookie.
Allen was acquired from Kansas City during the offseason and signed a six-year, $74.5 million contract with the Vikings.
