UPDATE: Infant death investigation in Waunakee

WAUNAKEE (WKOW) -- Dane County Coroner released the name of the infant who died in Waunakee over the weekend.  Camden Presser, 7 weeks old, was found not breathing around 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

EMS took the baby UW Hospital where he was confirmed dead.  As of the coroner's news release Sunday morning, Stanley said early findings did not conclude a cause of death.


WAUNAKEE (WKOW) -- Waunakee police began investigating the death of a 7-week-old boy Saturday morning, according to police chief Kevin Plendl.

A news release stated police and EMS were dispatched to the 100 block of South Holiday Drive for a pulseless non-breather.

CPR was performed, but the released stated the baby was transported to UW Hospital, where he died just before 10 a.m.

Waunakee police and the Dane County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating, according to the release.
