DEFOREST (WKOW) -- DeForest Area High School will be open on Wednesday, after police and school administrators searched for evidence of explosives and came up empty.
The district cancelled class at the high school on Tuesday, after receiving a note Monday afternoon that indicated a bomb would be at the school. School officials and police couldn't rule out the possibility, so they cancelled all classes, events and after-school activities.
Tuesday, DeForest police and a UW-Madison canine unit swept the school and didn't find anything.
Police are still investigating the threat and encourage anyone with information ton contact a staff member of the DeForest Police Department.
