MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin sends off 16 seniors Saturday, but the Badgers won't have to worry about being bowl eligible against Cal Poly.
Wisconsin beat Minnesota 35-32 to improve to 6-5 and now faces the No. 3 team in the small-school FCS division.
Coach Bret Bielema said Monday that being bowl eligible is huge and he hopes the Badgers will finish strong after a season of high hopes was derailed by a four-game Big 10 conference losing streak.
Bielema also says they'll know more about receiver Kyle Jefferson after tests later in the week.
Jefferson was taken off the field in an ambulance after a hit left him motionless for several minutes in the second quarter of Saturday's game against Minnesota.
He was later diagnosed with a concussion.
