At Camp Randall Stadium Saturday, bowl representatives from the Champs Sports Bowl and the Alamo Bowl were on hand to watch the Badger football team barely beat Cal Poly.
There were no representatives from the Insight Bowl, leading some to think the Insight was not interested in the Badgers, but that's not the case.
Shawn Schoeffler, the vice president of media relations for the Insight Bowl, tells 27 news: "We definitely have interest in the Badgers. We weren't at the Cal Poly game because we weren't at Camp Randall Stadium the week before. There is a BCS call [Tuesday] when they'll eliminate teams from the picture. I doubt we'll do anything until we know if the Big Ten will get two teams in the BCS."
The BCS bowl bids will not be announced until December 7th. If both Penn State and Ohio State receive BCS bids, that would bump all the Big Ten teams up.
