Snow event shaping up for southern Wisconsin

MADISON (WKOW) -- Updated from 27 Weather Central at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 30th:

A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect until 6am Monday for the following counties: Dane, Dodge, Green, Jefferson, Rock and Walworth.  These counties can expect 2-4" of accumulation today with an additional 3-6" (4-8" in Walworth Co.) tonight.  Gusty winds will also cause blowing and drifting of the snow.  Storm total accumulations will be around 5-9" by Monday morning with around 11" possible in Walworth County.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until 6am Monday for the following counties: Adams, Columbia, Crawford, Grant, Green Lake, Iowa, Juneau, Lafayette, Marquette, Richland and Sauk.  These counties can expect 1-3" of snow accumulation today with an additional 1-3" tonight.  Storm total accumulations will be around 2-7" by Monday morning.
