MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Michael Davies and Tom Gorowsky scored third-period power-play goals as Wisconsin knocked off No. 14 Michigan 3-0 tonight.
It was the seventh collegiate shutout for Shane Connelly, who has allowed only one goal in his last three games.
Billy Sauer made 13 saves in the second period for Michigan, which has lost three of its last four games.
After going 0-6-1 in October, Wisconsin finished November 7-1-1.
The teams were scoreless through two periods. Sauer helped keep it that way by fighting off five Wisconsin power plays through 40 minutes.
It was the first time in 16 games this season that Michigan has played a scoreless game through two periods. Wisconsin did so a week earlier at St. Cloud State, a game the Badgers won 1-0.
