Former UW-Whitewater Warhawk and Verona native Derek Stanley has seen his NFL season come to an end.
The 2nd year receiver and return man for the St. Louis Rams suffered a serious knee injury on this play in yesterday's game.
Rams head coach Jim Haslett revealed today that Stanley suffered a torn ligament and cartilege in his left knee and will require season ending surgery.
Stanley had 6 catches for 119 yards this season including an 80 yard touchdown.
