GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers placed safety Atari Bigby on injured reserve Thursday, ending his disappointing season.
Bigby injured his hamstring the second week of the season against the Detroit Lions and missed the next five games.
Bigby came back to start four games after the bye week, but didn't return to his previous level of play.
The safety has also been bothered by a chronic ankle injury.
The Packers signed defensive lineman Anthony Toribio from the practice squad to the active roster to take Bigby's spot.
