UPDATE: Town of Madison stabbing

TOWN OF MADISON (WKOW) -- from Town of Madison PD (12/29 3:30pm):  After reports of a disturbance at 2718 Pheasant Ridge Trail, police found a man bleeding from multiple stab wounds laying in the snow.

  EMS responders took the victim to the hsopital, where he underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.

  Town of Madison police say the victim was in an apartment in the building with a woman when another man walked in.

  The victim and the other man started to fight, and the other man pulled a knife.

  After fighting a while, the victim managed to get the other man to drop the knife; but police say the woman picked up the knife and started stabbing and slashing the victim.

  The woman and the other man also took money from the victim and left the man to bleed out, according to Town of Madison Police.

  The suspects are described as a black male, approximately 5'10", 170 lbs., between 25-30 years old, and a white female, approximately 5'6", 140 lbs., between 25-30 years old.


TOWN OF MADISON (WKOW) -- Town of Madison police are investigating a possible stabbing.

  Authorities are on scene right now in the 2700 block of Pheasant Ridge Trail in the Town of Madison.

  Police have said very little about what is happening and what they've found at that location.

  Officers have set up an on-scene command post.
