MADISON (WKOW) -- The co-pilot that helped safely splash land an aircraft in a New York City river received more honors from local leaders Thursday night.
Dane County Board members honored Jeff Skiles of Oregon with a resolution for his efforts in landing flight 1549 into the Hudson River.
Everyone on that flight survived.
While addressing the crowd, Skiles called the landing a group effort and "everyone was just doing their jobs."
