Very unsettled weather is slowly moving from the northern Plains into the Midwest this weekend. However, the widespread storms should remain well west of our area today. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies today with just the possibility of a couple stray afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Scattered strong to possibly severe thunderstorms will start to move into our region from the west on Sunday evening. Numerous showers and thunderstorms should be with us Sunday night through Wednesday. Enjoy the warm temperatures this weekend, but also be aware of deteriorating weather conditions later in the day Sunday.
