Red Cross opening shelters for flood victims in Madison, Cross Plains and Mazomanie


DANE COUNTY (WKOW) — For residents in Dane County displaced by the flooding, the Red Cross will be opening three shelters by 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 21.

  • West High School., 30 Ash St., Madison
  • Glacier Creek Middle School, 2800 Military Road, Cross Plains
  • Mazomanie Elementary, 314 Anne St., Mazomanie

The Red Cross is working with partners on dinner for tonight at each location, according to a news release. Please advise to travel only if it’s safe to do so.
