Man flees Janesville Police, crashes into home

JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Janesville Police say they arrested 32-year-old Mory Moore of Beloit early Monday morning after he allegedly led a police chase and crashed into a house.

Police say they received a report of a person passed out behind the wheel of a car at the intersection of N. Wright Rd. and Greenwood Dr. When they arrived, they found Moore passed out in the driver’s seat shortly after 1 A.M.

Police observed marijuana inside the car, and woke Moore. After that, police say Moore drove off in the car.

Officers chased Moore until he crashed into a house near the intersection of Castlemoor Dr. and Huntinghorne Dr.

Moore tried to run from the crash on foot — but officers were able to catch him.

Moore faces several charges, including O.W.I, Fleeing an Officer, and other traffic offenses. Moore also had a Probation warrant at the time of his arrest.
