Police: Home hit by bullet during fight at Madison park


MADISON (WKOW) — Police say an empty home was hit by a bullet after an altercation in a Madison park.

According to Madison police, witnesses reported seeing six people fighting, then shooting at each other around 3 p.m. on Sunday at Aldo Leopold Park on Traceway Drive.

Police say before officers arrived, three suspects ran away and three got into a car and drove away.

Officers found spent casings near the basketball courts at the park.

No one reported being hurt.

An empty home was hit by a bullet but was not the intended target, according to police.
