Everyone gets out safely during fire in town of Dunkirk

TOWN OF DUNKIRK (WKOW) -- Everyone got out safely when a fire broke out in a home in the town of Dunkirk on Friday.

Lieutenant Brenda Reinen with the Dane County Sheriff's Office says the fire started around 4:15 p.m. in a home in the 1500 block of Williams Drive.

Lt. Reinen says damage is estimated to be in excess of $100,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Lt. Reinen says it does not appear to be suspicious.
