UPDATE (WKOW) -- According to WisDOT the incident was cleared and all lanes reopened at 7:04 p.m. Saturday night.
WisDOT reported the incident had closed lanes since 1 p.m.
UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol said a semi-trailer caught fire, causing the lane closures Saturday.
27 News spoke with Sergeant Bret Manke, who reported a semi pulled over on I-39/90, and then the trailer caught fire.
Sgt. Manke said there were no injuries.
Currently, lanes are still closed, so the trailer and it's contents can be cleared. State Patrol was unable to tell 27 News how long this could take.
This incident is under investigation.
STOUGHTON (WKOW) -- Authorities respond to a fire on I-39/90 near Stoughton Saturday afternoon.
Wisconsin State Patrol and Cottage Grove Fire Department responded to the fire, which was in the southbound lanes near mile maker 151.
WisDOT reports two right southbound lanes closed because of a fire, but traffic is still getting through, slowly on the left shoulder.
