Expert predicts “heavy hitting” flu season
“This flu season is predicted to be quite heavy hitting to be quite frank,” said Meghan Buechel, an Infection Preventionist with Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. “We know last year was a very mild year in terms of a flu season and because of that we know many people in the community do not have immunity to the types of flu that we will likely see.”
